| This happy go lucky view of small town vice and
statewide political side-stepping recounts the good times and the
demise of the Chicken Ranch, known since the 1890s as one of the
better pleasure palaces in all of Texas. Governors, senators,
mayors, and even victorious college football teams frequent Miss
Mona's cozy bordello until that puritan nemesis Watchdog focuses
his television cameras and his righteous indignation on the
institution.
Since this is the final production of our 50th Season,
for each Friday performance, LCCT will be hosting an Anniversary Party
after the show with cake and champagne with a guest host for each
night. Our opening gala night will be hosted by LCCT founder,
Michael Graves from Sante Fe. Friday, June 7th will be
hosted by Las Cruces' own Tony Award winning playwright, Mark
Medoff, and Friday, June 14th will be hosted by one of Las
Cruces' favorite actors, David Edwards. |
